You can experience a touch of authentic rural romance by the shoreline as the waves lap. At Hahkiala's Uiskola, you can enjoy the gentle soaks of our wood-heated floating sauna and occasionally take a dip in the soft waves of the lake or in the winter in the open air. Our log-built beach sauna is suitable for a smaller group, with a beautiful lake view opening from the boards. The wood-heated fireplace sauna is located near the accommodation facilities and offers a comfortable space to enjoy the evening by the glow of the fireplace after the sauna.
When you want a touch of luxury, you should take a dip in Chymos' old oak wine barrel for a drink. A warm bath under the starry sky, in the light of the moon, is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience! The bath can also be ordered as an authentic wine bath. Paljut can be found next to the Uiskola and Hahkiala Kartano beach saunas.
A traditional Finnish sauna completes your successful day and leads to relaxed togetherness.
Uiskola Floating sauna & Beach sauna
The specialty of the swimming pool is the Floating Sauna, which is built on a Marinetek pontoon. The steaming of the wood-heated sauna on the waves, the wonderful lake views from the decks and a dip in the lake directly from the steam room is an experience without comparison. In winter, the sauna leads directly to the open air. The veranda at the other end of the sauna serves as a cooling-off space. The sauna has a spacious dressing room and board seats for 18 people.
Uiskola's original beach sauna is located by the shoreline, opposite Kelluvaa sauna. The dressing room of the log-built sauna has a touch of country romance and a beautiful lake view opens up from the decks. There are 10 board seats in the sauna.
In summer, you can continue the sauna evening on the large terrace with barbecue parties.
Hahkiala Beach Saunas
At Hahkiala Manor, you can take a sauna in "presidential style", because the Manor's beach sauna is a copy of the sauna of the President of the Republic's summer residence, Kultaranta. The baths of the wood-heated sauna are guaranteed to be gentle. The sauna's fireplace room is suitable for an evening party of 15 people and it's nice to relax there after the gentle soaks in the wood-heated sauna. The sauna has a separate changing room and about 15 board seats.
The Panorama sauna, which was later built as an extension of the main sauna, offers stunning views of the lake.
The sauna can be booked together or separately with the main sauna. There are about 10 board seats. A few steps away from the saunas is the clean Kirrisenjärvi lake, where in winter the open water invites the brave!

Bath in a wine barrel
On both sides of Kirri, in connection with the saunas, there is a specialty of Hahkiala, namely an old oak wine barrel of Chymos made into pallu, which can accommodate about 12 people to bathe at one time. A warm bath in a pool under the starry sky in the light of the moon is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience! The bath can also be ordered as an authentic wine bath.
